Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with the operator of the online gaming services offered via betplays-play.ca, as presented and reviewed under the project name Bet Plays ("Website", "Services"). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are effective as of 1 January 2026 and supersede all prior versions. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must not access or use the Website or Services.

The Website is operated by Creative Alliance N.V., a company registered in Curaçao with registration number 153106, having its registered office at Abraham de Veerstraat 9, Willemstad, Curaçao, and operating under Curaçao gaming sub-license GLH-OCCHKTW0701272021 (master license 365/JAZ) issued via Gaming Services Provider N.V.

The Services are offered to players in Canada on an offshore, so-called "grey market" basis. The operator is not licensed by any Canadian provincial or federal regulator and is specifically not regulated or approved in Ontario. Residents or persons physically located in Ontario must not use the Services. It is your responsibility to ensure that online gambling is lawful in your province or territory before you use the Website.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • Operator: Creative Alliance N.V., registration number 153106, with registered address at Abraham de Veerstraat 9, Willemstad, Curaçao, operating the online casino and betting services available via betplays-play.ca as reviewed under Bet Plays.
  • Website: The domain betplays-play.ca and all related subdomains, pages, and content made available by the Operator for Canadian users (excluding Ontario).
  • User or Player: Any natural person who accesses the Website and/or creates an account and/or participates in any game, bet, or promotion on the Website.
  • Account: A personal, unique user account registered in the Player's name on the Website, used to access the Services, hold funds, and place bets.
  • Bet or Wager: Any sum of money staked by a Player on the outcome of a game, event, spin, hand, round, or other gambling proposition offered on the Website, including casino bets, live casino bets, and any other form of real-money play.
  • Bonus: Any promotional value credited by the Operator, including but not limited to deposit bonuses, free spins, cashback, free bets, or loyalty rewards, which may be subject to specific conditions and wagering requirements.
  • Real Money Balance: The portion of a Player's Account balance consisting of deposited funds and any associated winnings that are not subject to wagering requirements.
  • Bonus Balance: The portion of a Player's Account balance consisting of Bonus funds and any winnings derived from Bonus funds that are subject to conditions and wagering requirements.
  • Games: All casino, live casino, instant win, and other gambling products available on the Website, provided either directly by the Operator or via third-party game providers.
  • KYC ("Know Your Customer"): Identity verification and due diligence procedures implemented by the Operator to confirm a Player's identity, age, location, and source of funds.
  • Payment Method: Any method used by the Player to deposit or withdraw funds, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, prepaid vouchers, and cryptocurrencies, where available.
  • Restricted Jurisdiction: Any jurisdiction in which the use of the Services is prohibited by law or by the Operator's policies, including, for the purposes of these Terms, the province of Ontario, Canada.

Account Registration

Eligibility and Age Requirements

  • Minimum age: You may only open an Account and use the Services if you are at least 18 years old and have reached the legal age for gambling in your province or territory (which is typically 19 in most Canadian provinces and territories). Where your local law sets a higher minimum age than 18, that higher age applies.
  • Location restrictions: You must not register or use the Services if you are a resident of, or are physically located in, a Restricted Jurisdiction, including Ontario. Use of VPNs, proxies, or any technical means to conceal your true location is strictly prohibited.
  • Legal capacity: By registering, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts and that online gambling is lawful in your place of residence and physical location.

Registration Process

  • Creating an Account: To use the Services, you must complete the online registration form, providing requested information such as your name, date of birth, address, email, preferred currency, and contact details. You must register in your own name and for your own benefit.
  • Email verification: The Operator may require you to verify your email address by clicking a confirmation link sent to the email you provide. Until completion of verification, certain functions (including deposits and withdrawals) may be restricted.
  • Single Account policy: You may hold only one Account on the Website. Creating multiple Accounts, whether under your own or other identities, is prohibited and may result in closure of all related Accounts and forfeiture of Bonuses and winnings.

KYC and Ongoing Verification

  • Identity documents: At any time, particularly before processing withdrawals, the Operator may require you to provide KYC documentation, including a government-issued photo ID, proof of address, and proof of ownership for your Payment Method.
  • Source-of-funds checks: In accordance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations, you may be required to provide information or documents regarding the origin of your funds. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in suspension or closure of your Account.
  • Accuracy and updates: You must ensure that all information provided during registration and throughout your use of the Website is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. The Operator may suspend your Account if it suspects false or misleading information.

Account Security and Obligations

  • Login credentials: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and any other security details. You must not disclose your credentials to any third party.
  • Unauthorized access: You are responsible for all activity conducted through your Account, whether authorized by you or not. If you suspect that your Account has been compromised, you must immediately change your password and notify customer support via the contact channels on betplays-play.ca.
  • Self-exclusion and limits: Where available, you may set deposit, loss, or session limits, or request temporary or permanent self-exclusion through the tools provided on the Website or by contacting support. The Operator will use reasonable efforts to implement such measures but cannot guarantee that you will not circumvent them.

Betting & Gameplay Rules

General Rules for Placing Bets

  • Funding your Account: You may place Bets only with funds that have been successfully deposited into your Account and are shown as available in your Real Money Balance or Bonus Balance (subject to Bonus restrictions).
  • Minimum and maximum stakes: Each Game and table may have specific minimum and maximum bet limits displayed within the Game interface. You must observe these limits. The Operator may also impose daily, weekly, or monthly transaction or stake limits.
  • Bet acceptance: A Bet is considered accepted when it is registered on the Operator's server and reflected in your Account balance and Game history. In case of discrepancy between your device and the Operator's records, the Operator's records will prevail, subject to applicable law.

Cancellation, Errors, and Malfunctions

  • Player-initiated cancellation: Once a Bet has been placed and accepted, it generally cannot be cancelled or modified by the Player. Any exception will be clearly indicated in the relevant Game rules.
  • Obvious errors: If a Bet is accepted at odds, paytables, or conditions that are clearly incorrect due to a technical or human error ("obvious error"), the Operator may void the Bet or settle it at the correct conditions that should have applied. In such cases, the Operator will restore your balance to the amount prior to the erroneous Bet.
  • Technical failures: In the event of a Game malfunction, interrupted session, or system failure, all Bets affected may be voided. Wagers placed on malfunctioning Games do not stand, and affected stakes may be refunded to your Real Money Balance. The Operator is not responsible for failures of your equipment, internet connection, or other external factors.

Game Rules and Third-Party Providers

  • Specific Game rules: Each Game may have its own rules, paytables, and return-to-player (RTP) information provided by the game provider. By playing, you agree to those Game-specific rules in addition to these Terms.
  • Third-party results: Many Games and random number generators are operated by third-party providers licensed under the Operator's Curaçao license. The Operator relies in good faith on such providers and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

Live Casino, Chat Conduct, and Prohibited Behaviour

  • Respectful conduct: In live casino sessions and chat features, you must behave respectfully toward dealers, staff, and other Players. Insults, offensive language, harassment, discrimination, spam, or threats are strictly prohibited.
  • Fraud and collusion: You must not engage in cheating, collusion, use of bots or automated systems, chip-dumping, exploiting software bugs, or any other unfair advantage. The Operator may void Bets, confiscate funds, and close Accounts involved in such activities.
  • Location masking: Use of VPNs, proxies, or similar tools to conceal your location, particularly to access the Services from Ontario or any Restricted Jurisdiction, is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate Account closure and forfeiture of Bonuses and winnings.

Responsible Gambling

  • Risk of loss: Gambling involves financial risk. You should only wager funds you can afford to lose. The Operator does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice and is not responsible for any negative financial consequences of your gambling.
  • Player tools: Where available, you may set personal limits or request self-exclusion via the Website or customer support. These tools are intended to assist, but you remain ultimately responsible for your gambling behaviour.
  • External support: If you believe you may have a gambling problem, you should seek help from independent professional organizations in your province or territory.

Bonus Terms

Bonus Activation and Availability

  • Eligibility: Bonuses and promotions may be available only to Players who meet specific criteria, such as minimum deposit amounts, geographic restrictions (excluding Ontario), or promotional codes. The Operator may restrict or revoke bonus eligibility at its discretion.
  • Activation: Some Bonuses require manual opt-in or the entry of a bonus code during deposit; others may be credited automatically. The conditions of each promotion will be stated in the relevant offer.
  • One bonus per person: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, each Bonus is limited to one per person, household, IP address, device, and payment details. Multiple claims may result in forfeiture of Bonuses and winnings.

Wagering Requirements and Timeframes

  • Playthrough: Unless specified otherwise in the promotion, Bonus funds and associated winnings are subject to wagering requirements (e.g., 30x the Bonus amount) before they can be withdrawn. The exact wagering requirement for each promotion will be stated in the offer terms.
  • Contribution by Game: Different Games may contribute differently toward wagering requirements. For example, slots may contribute 100%, while table games, live dealer games, or certain low-risk bets may contribute a lower percentage or 0%. The contribution table for each promotion will be provided on the Website.
  • Time limits: Bonuses and free spins are typically subject to expiry periods (e.g., within 7 - 30 days of activation). If wagering requirements are not met within the stated timeframe, the Bonus and any associated winnings may be removed.

Prohibited Bets and Bonus Abuse

  • Irregular play: The following, among others, may be considered bonus abuse or irregular play: placing single bets or series of bets with very low risk to clear wagering, using double-up features to artificially extend play, colluding with other Players, or using multiple Accounts.
  • Maximum bet while wagering: When wagering an active Bonus, there may be a maximum permitted bet per spin/round (e.g., a fixed amount per spin). Exceeding this limit may lead to confiscation of the Bonus and winnings. The relevant limit will be stated in the promotional terms.
  • Game restrictions: Certain Games may be excluded from Bonus play. Wagers on such Games while a Bonus is active may not count toward wagering requirements and may lead to Bonus cancellation.

Combining Promotions and Cashback

  • Non-stacking rule: Unless explicitly stated, Bonuses cannot be combined or "stacked." Only one active welcome or reload Bonus may be in play on your Account at any time.
  • Cashback and loyalty rewards: Cashback, loyalty points, or VIP rewards may each have specific conditions, including wagering requirements or maximum cashout limits, which will be set out in the relevant offer.
  • Bonus cancellation: You may, where technically possible, request cancellation of an active Bonus via your Account or by contacting support. If you cancel a Bonus, any associated Bonus funds and winnings may be removed, while your remaining Real Money Balance will be preserved.

Payments & Withdrawals

Deposit Methods and Conditions

  • Available methods: The Operator may offer deposits via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, prepaid vouchers, and cryptocurrencies, subject to availability in your province and the Operator's policies. The available methods for Canadian Players (excluding Ontario) are displayed in the cashier section.
  • Limits: Each Payment Method may have minimum and maximum deposit limits per transaction or per period. The Operator may apply additional internal limits for security and compliance reasons.
  • Third-party payments: Deposits must be made only from Payment Methods registered in your own name. Third-party payments are not permitted and may lead to refunds to the original source and Account restrictions.

Withdrawals

  • Verification requirement: Before approving withdrawals, the Operator may conduct KYC checks and request documents as described above. Failure to complete verification may delay or prevent withdrawals.
  • Withdrawal methods: Wherever feasible, withdrawals will be processed using the same Payment Method used for deposit. Where this is not possible, alternative methods may be offered in accordance with the Operator's policies and compliance obligations.
  • Processing times: The Operator aims to review and process withdrawal requests within a reasonable time (for example, within several business days), but actual times may vary depending on internal checks and the Payment Method provider. The Operator is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers or banks.

Fees, Currency, and Chargebacks

  • Fees: The Operator may, at its discretion, charge reasonable fees for processing deposits or withdrawals, especially in cases of repeated withdrawals without corresponding wagering activity. Any applicable fees will be shown in the cashier or notified before processing.
  • Currency and exchange: Your Account may be maintained in Canadian dollars (CAD) or other currencies offered on the Website. If your Payment Method is in a different currency, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion and fees, for which the Operator is not responsible.
  • Chargebacks: If a deposit is reversed, disputed, or charged back, the Operator may deduct the relevant amount (including any associated costs) from your Account, cancel pending withdrawals, and, where necessary, suspend or close your Account.

Refunds of Bets and Bonuses

  • Game-related refunds: Where Bets are voided due to technical malfunctions or obvious errors, the Operator may refund the original stake to your Real Money Balance or reinstate your prior balance.
  • Bonus refunds: Generally, Bonuses themselves are non-refundable and have no cash value. If a Bonus is withdrawn or cancelled due to a breach of these Terms or bonus rules, any remaining Bonus Balance and associated winnings may be forfeited.
  • Closed or excluded Accounts: If your Account is closed or you are self-excluded, the Operator will, subject to KYC and legal obligations, return any remaining Real Money Balance (excluding Bonus funds and related winnings) to you via a suitable Payment Method, unless prohibited by law or regulatory requirements.

Limitation of Liability

Operator's Obligations

  • Fairness and integrity: The Operator uses recognized third-party game providers and random number generators intended to ensure fairness of outcomes. It undertakes to operate the Website with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with its Curaçao license conditions.
  • Accuracy of results: Game outcomes and Account balances are recorded on the Operator's servers. In case of inconsistency between your device's display and the Operator's records, the latter shall prevail, subject to applicable law.

Exclusions of Liability

  • Technical and network issues: The Operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from technical failures, system errors, interruptions, delays, viruses, or network issues beyond its reasonable control, including failures of your device, internet service provider, or payment provider.
  • Third-party services: The Operator is not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party game providers, payment processors, or external websites (including complaint platforms such as AskGamblers or Casino Guru) to which the Website may link.
  • Financial losses: You are solely responsible for your gambling decisions. The Operator is not liable for any actual or alleged financial loss, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity resulting from your use of the Services.

Limitation and Mandatory Rights

  • Cap on liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) shall not exceed the higher of: (a) the amount of the Bet or transaction giving rise to the claim; or (b) your net deposits on the Website in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • No exclusion where unlawful: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
  • Consumer protections: Some provinces and territories may provide mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract. These Terms do not deprive you of any rights which you may have under such mandatory laws.

Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

  • Website content: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website, including but not limited to logos, trademarks (including "Bet Plays"), domain names (including betplays-play.ca), text, graphics, interfaces, and software, are owned by or licensed to the Operator and/or its affiliates and licensors.
  • Third-party materials: Game titles, logos, and content provided by third-party game providers are protected by their own intellectual property rights and are used on the Website under license.

Permitted and Prohibited Use

  • Limited license: You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Website for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only, in accordance with these Terms.
  • Prohibited activities: You must not copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, modify, license, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise exploit any part of the Website or its software, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.

  • Data purposes: Personal data may be processed for purposes including Account management, KYC and anti-money laundering checks, transaction processing, responsible gambling measures, customer support, and compliance with legal obligations.
  • International transfers: As the Operator is based in Curaçao and may use third-party service providers in various jurisdictions, your data may be transferred and processed outside of Canada. Appropriate safeguards will be applied where required by applicable data protection laws.

Changes to Terms

  • Right to amend: The Operator may amend, update, or replace these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, regulatory requirements, business practices, or the Services offered.
  • Notification methods: Material changes to these Terms will, where practicable, be notified by one or more of the following: (a) email to the address registered in your Account; (b) an on-site notification or banner on betplays-play.ca; or (c) a pop-up message requiring acceptance upon login.
  • Continued use as acceptance: The updated Terms will take effect on the date specified in the notice. If you continue to use the Website after that date, you will be deemed to have accepted the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Services and close your Account.

Termination & Suspension

Termination by the Player

  • Account closure: You may request closure of your Account at any time by contacting customer support via the channels provided on betplays-play.ca. Subject to KYC and legal obligations, the Operator will process your request within a reasonable time.
  • Remaining balance: Upon Account closure initiated by you, any Real Money Balance (excluding Bonus funds and related winnings) will, where practicable, be returned to you via an appropriate Payment Method, subject to verification and applicable fees.

Suspension and Termination by the Operator

  • Grounds for suspension/closure: The Operator may suspend or close your Account, void Bets, and/or retain funds where it has reasonable grounds to suspect or determine that: (a) you breached these Terms; (b) you are underage or located in a Restricted Jurisdiction (including Ontario); (c) you engaged in fraud, money laundering, or other unlawful conduct; (d) you used multiple Accounts, bots, or engaged in collusion or bonus abuse; or (e) you provided false or misleading information.
  • Consequences: In case of suspension, you may be prevented from placing new Bets or making withdrawals. In case of closure for cause, Bonus funds and related winnings may be forfeited, and, where required or permitted by law, funds may be withheld and/or reported to relevant authorities.
  • Notification: Where not prohibited by law or security considerations, the Operator will use reasonable efforts to inform you of the reasons for suspension or closure via email or on-site message.

Dormant and Inactive Accounts

  • Dormancy: If you do not log into your Account for an extended period (for example, 12 consecutive months), your Account may be classified as dormant. The Operator may contact you using the last known contact details before applying any dormancy-related measures.
  • Fees and closure: Where permitted by law, a reasonable monthly dormancy fee may be deducted from your Real Money Balance after a specified period of inactivity, which will be disclosed on the Website. If your balance reaches zero or after a prolonged period, the Account may be closed.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • Governing law: These Terms, your Account, and your use of the Services are governed by the laws of Curaçao, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, to the extent not overridden by mandatory laws of your province or territory of residence.
  • Dispute resolution: If you have a complaint, you should first contact the Operator's customer support. The Operator will attempt to resolve your complaint in a fair and timely manner. If you remain dissatisfied, you may, where applicable, submit a complaint to the Curaçao complaints channel referred to in the licensing information or to recognized independent platforms such as AskGamblers or Casino Guru, as indicated on the Website.
  • Courts and arbitration: Subject to any mandatory consumer rights and any applicable alternative dispute resolution mechanism, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms may be submitted to the competent courts of Curaçao. Nothing in this clause limits your right to bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence where such right is mandated by applicable law.
  • No Canadian regulatory approval: You acknowledge that the Services are not regulated by Canadian provincial or federal gambling authorities and that no Canadian regulator or government body has approved or endorsed the Website.
